Cancellations & Refunds

At Extinkt, we understand that plans can change. To ensure we can accommodate all clients fairly and keep our clinic running efficiently, we kindly ask that all appointment changes follow the policy below.

 

Cancellations & Appointment Changes

To avoid losing your deposit:

  • Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Appointments can be changed via phone, text or in person.

If less than 48 hours' notice is provided, or if you do not attend your scheduled appointment:

  • Your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit may be required to rebook.

This policy helps us manage our clinicians’ time and offer appointments to clients on our waitlist.

 

Deposits

A deposit is required to secure all tattoo removal and laser sessions.
Your deposit is:

  • Fully credited toward your treatment on the day, and

  • Only forfeited if you do not provide adequate notice (48 hours) or if you do not attend your appointment.

 

Pre-Paid Treatments & Packages

Clients who pre-pay for treatments receive a discounted rate.
To ensure fairness and consistency:

  • Pre-paid treatments are non-refundable and non-transferable to other individuals.

  • Pre-paid treatments have a 4-month validity period, with recommended intervals of 8–12 weeks between sessions.

  • If you miss an appointment without providing 48 hours' notice, the session will be deducted from your pre-paid balance.

When purchasing a pre-paid treatment or package, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

 

Refunds

Extinkt follows all guidelines under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Refunds will be provided where required under the ACL, including situations involving:

  • Major faults in a service

  • Services not provided with due care and skill

  • Services not delivered as promised

However, change-of-mind refunds do not apply to deposits, pre-paid treatments or completed treatments.
